The MACE Fellowship

The MACE Fellowship program was created in 2021 by the MACE Foundation Board of Directors and its founder, Sharon W. Cooper, MD, FAAP.

The MACE Fellowship was established to facilitate and support critically-needed research opportunities for Black, Brown and Indigenous female research scientists, medical doctors and other healthcare professionals (in closely related disciplines), whose research focus is on American Black, Brown and Indigenous women’s physical and mental health, maternal mortality and the health of their babies.

MACE Fellows are provided financial support, professional mentorship, training resources, and networking opportunities within higher learning academic institutions, United States Military Medical Centers and or Veteran Centers.

Join us in congratulating the inaugural 2022 MACE Fellows!

Dr. Tejumola Adegoke & Dr. Leanne Yinusa-Nyahkoon

The Next Open Call For MACE Fellowships proposals will be in the Fall of 2024.
